List of ADVERSE EVENTS of SPECIAL INTEREST
As part of its work to harmonize safety assessment of CEPI-funded vaccines for a list of prioritized pathogens, SPEAC has generated lists of adverse events of special interest (AESI) for safety monitoring based on one or more of the following criteria:
Known association with immunization or a specific vaccine platform
Occurrence during wild-type disease as a result of viral replication and/or immunopathogenesis.
Theoretical association based on animal models.
